When a plaster pool cracks and cannot be re-plastered, we machine apply a fiberglass shell/membrane over the existing pool body. The finish is smoother and more resilient than plaster but not as rough. Fiberglass does not attract black molds like plaster because it does not have pores like plaster and exceeds its lifetime by far.
